Here’s a Step By Step Guide to Measuring for Robe Doors

You Will Need

  • Measuring Tape
  • Notepad or Paper
  • Pencil or Pen

  • Measuring Width A
    • Bottom Width: At the bottom of the wardrobe opening
    • Measure across from the inside of one side to the inside of the opposite side (as shown in measurement A on the diagram)
    • Record this as the Bottom Width B.
  • Top Width
    • Repeat the process at the top of the wardrobe
    • Measure across from the inside of one side to the inside of the opposite side (as shown in measurement B on the diagram)
    • Record this as the Top Width
  • Measuring Height C. Left Height:
    • On the left-hand side
    • Measure from the bottom to the top of the wardrobe opening (as shown in measurement C on the diagram)
    • Record this as the Left Height D.
  • Right Height:
    • On the right-hand side
    • Measure from the bottom to the top of the wardrobe opening (as shown in measurement D on the diagram)
    • Record this as the Right Height
  • Optional:
    • Check Floor Levels Floor Level Check: Use a level to check if the floor is even.
    • If the floor is uneven by more than 10mm, consider installing a level floor batten to ensure smooth operation of the robe doors.

  • Use a ladder if needed for accurate top measurements
