Framed Door Track Options
When selecting your wardrobe doors, it’s important to choose the right track type for a smooth and secure fit. Our Framed and Frameless door track types include:
- Standard (EWD3): Used directly on the flooring when the flooring is a hard surface i.e tiles, timber or carpet with a jamb in place. A reliable option for most wardrobe setups - 83mm deep
- Raised (EWD34): Used when the flooring is carpet. Offers a higher profile to come up past the carpet without the need for a jamb or adds strength to the track if it needs to be installed over the carpet. - 83mm deep
- Standard with Lip (EWD3A): Used when there is a floorplate/jamb in place, the lip can cover an exposed edge to the floorplate/jamb. - 83mm deep
- Triple (EWD14): Suitable for 3-door configurations when the flooring is a hard surface i.e tiles, timber, or carpet with a floorplate/ jamb in place - 125mm deep
- Triple with Lip (EWD14A): Used when there is a jamb in place &/or Carpet. Features a lip for to cover an existing floorplate/ jamb - 125mm deep
If you have an 1800mm opening, double doors may not provide a wide enough opening for your needs, so a triple door and track solution would be best to gain wider access.
Our tracks are installed with end caps to ensure no scratching and to provide a clean finish.
These options are for framed and frameless doors, however, slimline doors have their own unique track types to suit the slimmer design. Consider these options carefully to ensure your wardrobe doors glide smoothly and fit perfectly with your space.
